Norcross, GA. (January 8, 2007) MARBEN Products in conjunction with partner NE Technologies, Inc.(www.netechinc.com), the industry leading distributor of Telecommunications Protocol Stacks is pleased to announce participation as a test plan contributor for the Inaugural IMS Plugfest Interoperability event scheduled for Jan. 15 - 19, 2007, at the University of New Hampshire Interoperability Lab in Durham, N.H.

MARBEN Diameter Protocol Stack is a leading standards based offering for Authentication, Authorization and Accounting (AAA) for IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem) Products.  MARBEN Diameter enables Network Equipment Providers or system integrators to quickly leverage the IMS framework and bring new and exciting offerings to their customers in a manner that streamlines back-office management with measurable quality of services.

Applications and services also to be tested include voice services, fix-mobile convergence, presence, instant messaging and hosted IP PBX operating across multiple networks such as Mobile, WiFi, Wireline and Cable broadband. January's IMS Plugfest is the first in a series of events that will run through 2008. These interoperability tests have the goal to establish industry-recognized certification processes for IMS products and services that have achieved the highest level of interoperability. IMS Plugfests are open to both IMS Forum members and non-members.
